It was late on a Friday and even though we were assured a dry and fresh afternoon, it hadn't stopped pouring down rain! Dan and I were seated going over the rugby results, ready for the seventh fuel drain of the day to come in. Eventually we received a phone call from a girl on a company trip who had gone to the BP filling station in Freckleton and put petrol in a diesel luxury Chevrolet Malibu hire car in error. The unfortunate lady was fairly affected apparently, saying "I cannot believe that I have destroyed the car!
